Are these Cards Good for Eco-Friendly Wedding Invites?

Absolutely! These cards are popular for printing eco wedding invites on, especially for couples who don’t want to sacrifice style for sustainability.

Do all of the Cards have Matching Envelopes?

Most of our eco-friendly cards have matching or complementary envelopes. There are a few exceptions:

• Hemp – No exact match, but pairs well with Cycle 100% Recycled soft white envelopes
• Colorful recycled shapes (USED)- Only USED 1 (white) and 3 (blush) have matching envelopes at this time.
• Chlorophyll (grass) cards – Pairs well with Gmund Colors Chartreuse envelopes. Gmund Colors is an environmentally conscious, Cradle to Cradle Silver certified paper collection.

Are these Cards Popular for Creative Eco Branding Design?

Very much so.  Branding designers love this collection for its unique variety of “non-boring” colors and textures. Gone are the days where environmentally friendly stationery has to be printed on plain white paper! We’ve seen these blank cards transformed into creative business cards, package inserts, hang tags, holiday cards, and more.

Can LCI Paper Custom Cut Recycled Paper?
Yes, we offer custom cutting, scoring, and laser cutting on all of our papers. If you don’t see the size or shape you need here, contact us. We’ll help you create it.

Does LCI Offer Organic Cards?
Not officially, but No Color / No Bleach cards are very popular for organic branding design. They are made with virgin fiber and without dye (No Color) or bleach (No Bleach), creating a pure, clean, simple backdrop for natural or minimalist designs.

Are Plant-Based Bio Cycle Cards Plantable?
Though Bio Cycle cards are biodegradable, compostable, and have several inclusions like seed paper, they won’t sprout or flower if planted.

Are Hemp Cards made of Pure Hemp?
Our hemp cards come in 10%, 50%, and 100% hemp. 10% hemp is mixed with 90% pure wood pulp. 50% hemp is mixed with 50% recycled wood pulp.

Do Recycled Kraft Cards come only in Brown?
Our kraft cards are all neutral in color, offered in white, shades of. brown, and gray. Each has a fairly smooth, printable finish with visible inclusions from the 100% recycled content.

Are Recycled White Cards Bright White?
Our white recycled cards all look a bit different, as they span different brands. For example, Moonrock (a white kraft) has very visible, intentional inclusions (flecks/fibers) sprinkled throughout, whereas USED 0 and PC100 cards are more uniform with fewer inclusions. In all cases, recycled white cards are not as bright as a standard, recycled white card. Some may see the soft white color and inclusions as imperfections, but we see it as the true, unique character of an eco-friendly recycled paper!

Do Recycled and Sustainable Fiber Cards work for Letterpress Printing?
Yes, and they look beautiful! Don’t be fooled by the recycled content or funky fibers that make up these cards – they’re strong enough to hold up to letterpress, embossing, engraving, stamping, digital printing and more. As with any of our products, we always recommend ordering samples to test print on your own equipment prior to purchasing a full pack.
