About Gmund Wood Blank Cards

Rustic & thick wood embossed cards in select pre-cut sizes. Wood embossing is heavily defined on one side. Back side of the cards are a smooth or matte finish. Small size, heavy texture and card thickness can make this a difficult card to print at home. Best results have been found using high end inkjet printers (testing recommended).

Woodgrain envelopes are available in select sizes & colors in a collection of popular invitation sizes and feature a modern square flap. To complete your ensemble, matching Savanna Wood Grain card stock and papers are available.

Deeply Embossed Texture - Gmund Wood

Gmund's wood grain texture captures the character of real wood, knots and all. This distinct wood grain texture comes from a heavy embossing on one side of the sheet. The reverse side is mostly smooth, though has subtle wood grain markings that come through during embossing.

Do you offer printing on Woodgrain paper or cardstock?
At this time, we do NOT offer printing on Woodgrain cardstock or pre-cut cards.

Can you print on Woodgrain cards paper at home?
Due to the heavy texture and card thickness, Woodgrain may be hard to print at home. The best results have been found using high end inkjet printers (testing recommended). To see examples of printed Woodgrain cards, click here.

Can you write on Woodgrain cardstock?
Handwriting can sometimes prove challenging on these cards due to the heavy embossed texture. In our experience using these cards as a backer and layering a smooth finish card on top is the best option.
