(Marlborough, Mass) — Marlborough-based LCI Paper Company donates 100 pounds of craft paper for the Deafblind Program art department at Boston’s famed Perkins School.

 

“It’s an honor to be able to contribute to such a remarkable organization which has impacted so many lives,” says Larry Chase, LCI Founder and CEO.

 

Some of the papers being donated are from the new Gmund Color System, considered the finest paper worldwide. LCI is overjoyed to have become the selected carrier of this incredible paper, made in Germany.

“The students of the Deafblind Program are active participants in the creative arts program; the sensory and tactile experiences are invaluable to for each student,” says Martha Majors, Assistant Education Director of the Deafblind Program. “Each year the staff work with students to host an art show; this paper will be used for this purpose. Some of the art has been shared with local museums. This gives our students an opportunity for further exposure.”
