How Helenly Design Co. Began

Mary Helen has been a graphic designer for 9+ years in a variety of different industries. It wasn’t until last year that she began making the transition into the bridal industry.

It was after designing a branding package and website for a new, local wedding venue that she started developing an interest in the bridal industry. She was captivated by the elegant invitation suite designs and fell in love with this new, alluring part of design she had not considered before.

Since then, Mary Helen has been consistently delivering stunning, luxurious branding and wedding stationery with a focus on elegant, vintage vibes.

Over the course of her career she has received many compliments over her work, but her favorite one was when someone told her, “they look like something for the wedding of a queen of king!” She was thrilled to hear this as this is her goal with every design she creates.

Why Mary Chooses LCI Paper for her Graphic Design Needs

One of the many reasons why Mary Helen chooses LCI Paper for her branding and stationery design needs is because of the vast array of products that are offered. She also chooses LCI because of the high-quality envelopes and specialty paper and because of the easy and convenient experience she has each time she purchases from LCI Paper.

LCI has so many unique products to choose from. The quality is unmatched, and the shipping time is great! I love the envelope color options as well. I’ve always received prompt replies when I have reached out with any questions. It feels like a mom n’ pop store, which I love!

It’s because of this Mary Helen is able to craft her amazing designs on equally amazing paper.

Rustic, Burnt Orange Deckle Edge Invitation Suite Designed by Helenly Design Co.

For a warm and rustic feel, Mary Helen chose to use LCI Paper’s Deckle Edge Cards in size A7 and A2. This paired exceptionally well with the rustic elegance of the burnt orange ink.

For this invitation suite Mary Helen used Wedding White Deckle Edge Cards to compliment her dark green envelopes. She paired this collection with vintage stamps to tie it all together.

Mary Helen’s Favorite Invitation Papers & Envelopes

Mary Helen’s favorite products are LCI’s euro-flap envelopes and unbleached cardstock. She’s excited to try LCI Paper’s envelope printing services on her next large order. Some of her other go-to items include LCI’s Deckle Edge cards and the felt cardstock.

The felt cardstock was something I ordered on a whim to test out and I just love the look and feel of it! I actually use it to create my own personal business cards.

Mary Helen finds the deckle edge cards particularly appealing for her vintage designs. While she typically likes to do these by hand with recycled paper, having the option to order them pre-made is a life-saver. Plus, the thicker cardstock alway comes in handy for table numbers.
